I have plugged my connector into the USB port. How do I get the mouse to work?
JA: What's the make and model of your computer? Have you had problems with the USB port in the past?
Customer: No, it is an old HP Pavilion dv5 which originally had Windows 7 and has been updated to Windows 10.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I think Windows has.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

Once downloaded, install both pieces of software.

How long does the download take?

It shouldnt take more then a few minutes.. Unless you have slow internet.

After it download, you need to open your download folder and install it~

I clicked the link to Download M310 XL. Is that correct or am I downloading the wrong product?

On that product page there were two programs.

One program was called "Setpoint"

Another program was called " Connection utility"

Mainly, its the connection utility we need to download, and then install. So lets focus on that one for now.

After doing the Utility download, I clicked the Customizing my M310 with Logitech software(Setpoint) link and then I clicked the link to Download from M310 Downloads
Page yesterday. By the time it finished, I had to take my wife somewhere. This morning, I went into my Programs Directory and I did not find an entry for Logitech. So, Setpoint download did not work. Please explain

Its hard for me to explain whats blocking the install since I cant see your computer or the screen.

It could be an over protective antivirus.. It could be some conflict with your user profile. It could be damage caused by a current virus, or a previous virus that was removed.
