The first thing I would suggest is removing the power cord from the back of the monitor for 60 seconds.
Then plug it back in and power it on. The monitor should have a set of button controls, one of which should allow
you to open a menu.
I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you.
Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse.

Try this. Hold down the Windows logo key (just to the left of the spacebar) and press P.
While holding down the Windows key, press P until Extend is selected
and then release both keys.
The Extend option enlarges your desktop to both screens.

I understand about not being able to connect, but I have no idea what kind of computer you're using or version of Windows
and I don't know anything about the monitor except who made it.
