do you know whats wrong with my laptop but I have to pay $55 to get it fixed?
Expert:  technicalcat replied 2 months ago.

Please let me know the results of this test. I've also sent you an offer for remote services if you'd like me to connect to your computer and fix thing for you while you watch and communicate with me. Thank You.

  1. Turn on your device and make it discoverable. This usually means pressing a button on the mouse for "pairing".

  2. Press Start

button, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth > select the device > Pair.

  4. Follow any more instructions if they appear.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.

Expert:  technicalcat replied 2 months ago.

Are you able to see your mouse device on the screen?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Expert:  technicalcat replied 2 months ago.

ok, what is the name of the mouse device you see on the bluetooth window?

Expert:  technicalcat replied 2 months ago.

also, you do not have to accept remote services. it's just a much easier way for me to help you fix this, as I can connect and see what you see and communicate with you. i will help you either way you choose.

Lenovo pointing device -v19.0.7.31
Expert:  technicalcat replied 2 months ago.

I believe that's the touchpad. what exactly do you see in the BLUETOOTH window?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
only thing I can see is symnaptics clickpad v8 0 on RMHID port
Expert:  technicalcat replied 2 months ago.

I don't think you are in the right place. Did you want me to connect with you remotely to make this easier? Otherwise, I can try to send more detailed instructions with pictures.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have to go out so can you please send the pictures and will look at it later
Expert:  technicalcat replied 2 months ago.

a better approach, if i'm not able to connect to you, would actually be for you to send me a screen capture of what you see in your bluetooth devices window. you can attach that as a reply here if you'd like. i really need to see what you see on the screen. thanks.
