I'm trying to find a replacement part for a Logitech N700

Customer Question

I'm trying to find a replacement part for a Logitech N700 Lapdesk. I need to replace one of the flip up laptop support tabs... there are two at the bottom of the lapdesk that keep the laptop from sliding off the front. Can you tell me where to find them, or if there is a different model that has interchangeable parts?

Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

I will have to ask as to what you are inquiring about, please:

Is this it, and the two tabs in question near the right-front edge (as shown) ?

Good. I'm looking up sources for that part now. It will be some minutes before I post to this case again.

Logitech only lists this, for that model of Lapdesk, as an available spare part:

http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/speaker-lapdesk-n700-product

This site claims to stock Logitech parts, and you could inquire there:

Those feet are likely to be hard to find, as spare parts go. A more practical approach might be to either replace the whole thing (doubtless not an acceptable alternative!) or have it sent to Logitech servicing. Unfortunately, last I heard, Logitech only produces stuff, and does not repair it! a distinct shortcoming in a case like this, for sure.

As for another model that might have similar support tabs... there is the model n315, and the model n500.

And those two other models of Labdesk don't seem to have such support tabs, so only your own model will supply replacement parts.

I'm sorry the answer, and the facts, weren't more favorable.
