There is video on it.
I just plugged it into my laptop and it doesn't show up.
How can I access the drive on my laptop

Click start, computer

Then in the new windows click on computer.

There you see Driver and devices and you should see the Seagate.

Click on it and you can then access your files there

The hard drive isn't showing up on my PC

Can you click start, right click computer and select manage

Then click on Disk Management

Tell me the drives you see listed there please.

ok Seagate drive is listed there but no option to get the files on it

Choose a letter

Then go to start,computer and tell me if you now see it please.

It is the hard drive then that has faulted.

I'm afraid it's not the hard drive..I tried two different ones and neither showed up in the Device list as it normally would

connect it to a different computer and then you will know
