1. Remove the USB device for the keyboard from the computer and then plug back in
2. Remove the batteries from the keyboard
3. Plug the USB device back into the computer
4. Insert batteries into the keyboard, make sure the keyboard is next to the computer (use fresh batteries if it has been more than 3 months of use)
5. Press the connect button
