Enabling RAID in the BIOS doesnt help, neither does editing the registry settings for AHCI

I am very sorry about your issues. Have you tried installing the expansion card in a different slot?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
the expansion slot must be installed in a 2.0 compliant PCI to ensure 6 gbit throughput via devices
Expert:  Jess M. replied 6 months ago.
But have you tried to install it in a different slot to see if the installation completes without error? Also, did you install the drivers from the CD that came with the expansion card?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
No, I installed the drivers I coded while sitting on a saguaro cactus whacked out of my mind on mescaline...of course I used the included drivers. As for installing the card in another PCI slot and trying the, because I didnt buy a 3.0 USB card to hobble it down to 2.0 data rates
