Expert:  michelleclive replied 11 months ago.

we will have to reset the monitor to factory defaults the problem will be solved after we reset it.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
OK. But how should the buttons be set? (When I first got the monitor, I could not get the screen on. Eventually somebody told me about which button to set, and then it opened.) I assume I don't need to pay if your solution does not solve the problem.

Hold down Menu Button + Power for 7 seconds. Then let off for a few seconds and hold down the Menu Button and select system setup and the select all reset. This will bring your monitor back to normal.

Is the power button the first on the right, that looks like a circle with a line going out of the top?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Assuming the button on the right is the power button, I've tried what you suggest twice and nothing happens. (A small problem is that when I reconnect the monitor to the computer to try to open it, I lose this screen.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I just rechecked all the connections and the monitor screen opened.
