Hi there,

To turn the touchpad back on, use an external mouse or keyboard commands to go to:

  1. Go to the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
  2. From the View menu, choose Accessibility.
  3. Click the Mouse & Trackpad pane.
  4. Uncheck in the box “Ignore built-in trackpad when mouse or wireless trackpad is present”
