Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist. As long as you haven't taken any new pictures that were saved to the card you should be able to recover what was deleted. To do that download Recuva (free version) from here:
https://www.piriform.com/recuva
and install it on your PC/laptop. Insert your card and launch the program and tell it to scan the card. It will recover your photos.
If you need help with the recovery I'll be more than happy to remotely connect to your computer to assist but I won't be available to do that until later this evening.

We can download the Recuva on our computer but we do not have a port to insert the SandDisk card. Not sure if there is
anything we can do without that to possibly retreive our deleted pictures?

Good morning. There are two ways to handle this. If you have the card inserted in your camera and attached to your computer as long as Windows assigns a drive letter to the SD card Recuva will be able to scan it that way.
If your PC/laptop doesn't have a built-in card reader you can get an inexpensive reader like this from Amazon:

For a bit more money you can get a Sandisk brand card reader as well:
