Logitech mouse M185 doing "phantom" things on it's own.

Customer Question

Logitech mouse M185 doing "phantom" things on it's own. Highlights in blue &/or deletes parts of emails in the middle of composing an email. Purchased new mouse, thinking that was the problem, but it's still doing the phantom stuff.

Hi, and thank you for asking your question
Are you using a laptop or a desktop with the mouse? Also, are you using Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8?
Keep me posted.

If you are using a laptop, the issue you are having with the cursor/text moving around has to do either with your palm brushing against the touchpad area while typing or with the touchpad sensor which is connected with the keyboard, so when you use some of the keys, the touchpad gets activated as well.
Now, please download the TouchFreeze utility using the following link:

You should see the following text there:
Download latest Windows binaries from downloads section.
Just download and install the utility first, then restart your computer and let me know if this resolves your cursor issue all right. Thank you!
