Compexprt :

Unplug the ac adapter. Keep ac adapter unplugged.
Remove the battery and keep the battery unplugged.
Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds. (Nothing will appear on the display and none of the lights will light up.)
Release the power button and plug in the ac adapter ONLY. (Please note that a power indicator light should be lit on the ac adapter when it is plugged in).
Normally power on the notebook.

Compexprt :

let me know how it goes

Customer :

Customer :

Compexprt :

if we open it the warrany will be terminated

Compexprt :

and i know if we open it remove the battery and put it back in will make the computer work again

Customer :

this is my second Acer Asipre the first one crashed with a hard drive problem when I had it for 2 weeks and had to be replaced with this one- I am beginning to think they are LEMONS

Compexprt :

but i dont want you warranty to be terminated

Compexprt :

in this case

Compexprt :

Hp is the best brand to be trusted

Compexprt :

anyways

Customer :

the only way to remove the battery is to take the back off removind all 12 screws- I certainly dont want to do that with a brand new computer

Compexprt :

solution to this

Compexprt :

is to call up Acer and tell them the issue as the screen is all white you will get a replacement

Customer :

I have an HP laptop for work and it hasnt been great- has had the mother board replaced when only 6 months old- becuase it was so unreliable I bought the Acer myself so I would have backup and a reliable computer. I am guessing I am going to have to take it back to where I bought it

Customer :

thanks

Compexprt :

yes you can get it replaced from there
