Customer Question

I have a Howard Miller G/F clock, the numbers off of the mechanism are: SKS13 and F009459. The weight chain came off of the middle sprocket. I attempted to get it repaired by a local H/M certified repairman and he cant' fix it. He reported that the sprocket was slipping on the shaft and that is why the chain feel off. Can you recommend a repairman or should I send in the mechanism? TB
JA: I throw away my watch whenever it stops moving. Some people love fixing timepieces. Differences like that make the world go round I guess - maybe that's clockwork too. Is there anything else the Clock Technician should be aware of?
