Have Clock Problems? Ask a Clock Expert and Get Answers ASAP
Hi, My name is ***** ***** it is my pleasure to assist you. Yes if you wind the clock and there is no tension the mainspring has either come unhooked from the catch or has broken. You will need to open the clock and remove the mainspring drum if that is the style you or just inspect the mainspring. If you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself let me know your zip code location and I'll locate a clock repair shop for you. Try this option and let me know what happens. Thanks Mike
