Hi, My name is ***** ***** it is my pleasure to assist you. First you can try to run the clock manually by moving the minute hand clockwise stopping to let the clock chime this will allow the Right & LEFT weights to wind down if you have 3 weights if you only have 2 weights the RIGHT is for the strike and the left for your time. For releasing the tension on the weight that runs the pendulum you will have to let the pendulum leader to run without the pendulum hanging from the pendulum leader. Next if those options do not work which they should you are going to have to lift the chains up off the sprocket and let about 12 inches of chain hang down the side the weight hangs from that means removing the weights and going through the back of the clock and lift the chain up and then feed the chain down also remember not to twist or kink the chain when doing so. If you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself let me know your zip code location and I can locate a clock repair company in your area that can assist you with our clock. Try these option out and let me know what happens. Thanks Mike
