JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: The battery corroded and the spring strip that holds the battery broke off so I need to replace the whole movement mechanism, I think.

Hi, My name is ***** ***** it is my pleasure to assist you. The movement you need you can get from the companies I order from just tell them you need the a new movement for your Seth Thomas clock and the model number and there should be a number on the back or side of your movement that you will need to tell them. As for replacing the movement you will need to remove the hands from the clock by removing the nut or if they are pressure fitted on the shaft you will need to use equal pressure at the base of each hand on both sides to remove them and then the mounting screws that hold the movement in place. Try these option out and let me know what happens. Thanks Mike
