I have a Master Crafters electric clock: Model No. 551 "Swinging Playmates". It works very well, but I am unable to set it because the stem is present, but the fob is missing. Pliers don't work.
Already Tried: Pliers. Looking online for the missing fob.
Hi Diane, My name is XXXXX XXXXX it is my pleasure to assist you. I had two of these clock about a year or more ago in my shop with the same problem one of them I was able to find a fob or turning nut in my spare parts the other one I was able to soilder a small knob onto the stem. My advice,is to see a reputable repairman in your area. They will probably have alot of parts off older clocks that have turning nuts or can put a new stem in the clock. I also looked online with the companies I use but I don't know the size of your stem. The company went out of business around 1980.If you want I can find a clock repair company in your area just let me know your location and by what major cities and I'll find a few in your area.
