Customer Question

Hi, my name is ***** ***** I have a 1966 Cadillac Deville with a stock 429cid. For the most part it runs well, I have upgraded to an electric choke Edelbrock carb and electronic ignition, and a 4 core radiator. Unfortunately, I do experience "vapor lock" during hotter weather and when engine just gets hot after long drive. I do understand that today's fuel has evolved and has a lower boiling point, but is there anything I can do to eliminate or minimize this issue? Your advise is appreciated.

Hi Adam,

Have you verified the float levels are correct?

What aircleaner are you using, and is it fed with outside cold air?
