I have a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc 5 speed convertible one

Customer Question

I have a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc 5 speed convertible one owner car
When purchased from dealer I was told it was the last of a 200 production run for testing of safety and emissions for California which failed, also Chevrolet lost the rights to use the Iroc logo which is on the car.
I kept in mint condition all these years as I was told it would become a collectors item.
I was offered 40 K in 1990 by a Chevrolet dealer in Tuulsa ok.
Looking to sell at this time
Thx
Angelo

I have received your answer which states that you found no issues.

I know there is no issues, I need to know if the vehicle is ligitamate for collectable status and possible value

Hi, Thank you for that information. The value of these cars are not at that point where the other dealer offered you that value. I would have sold it right there because the value has not increased much and it will be hard to get the $40,000 from someone unless they are a die hard collector. Have you tried to see if the dealer is still in business? These cars right now the ones that are out there for sale are priced at $37,000 being the last one sold. If you were to sale I would not take anything less than $48,000 because of the miles are so low
