its a comp cams hydraulic roller cam specs are .600 intake .600 exhaust performer rpm intake. msd hei with advance locked out timing at 34 degrees

You could try leaning the idle mixture. With engine warm and idling, turn in the idle mixture screws until the idle speed just starts to drop.

do i need a vacum gauge connected to intake to do all 4 screws and am i looking for the highest vacum reading
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
whats the actual steps because as of now once warm it will idle at 1000 rpm off the curb idle screw

If you have a vacuum gauge then you can adjust to best vacuum reading. Start at the front screws, these are your main idle mixture adjustments.
