i am trying to find the turn signal flasher on my 1977 mark v, and i do not see it either. is it round metal canister like the hazard flasher, or plastic. jc whitney shows a plastic relay for the flasher?

The turn signal flasher should be found under the dash in the center most likely clipped to the metal brace. It may be hard to spot. The original flasher would be metal but many replacements are plastic.
