I HAVE A 1969 LINCOLN AFTER CAR GETS HOT TURN KEY OFF AND WILL NOT START FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES . SEEMS LIKE WHEN COOLS DOWN THE IT WILL START THERE ARE NOT KNOCKS IN THE MOTOR HAVE TRIED REPLACING STARTER AND STILL DOES IT.

Hello , can you clarify. Do you mean that when you go to crank the engine that the starter does not even engage ? Like there is no power ? Or does the engine crank but will not start ?
