Need wiring schematic Chevy Stylemaster with factory turn

Customer Question

Need wiring schematic for 1948 Chevy Stylemaster with factory turn signals. Has the factory wire harness, original electric 6 volt system.
Problem: Signal starting blowing fuse when used for left hand signal. Right signal, no problem. Turn signal fused sepertate. All other lights, front parking, rear tail and brake work with this fuse out. Change flasher to new plug in vs screw to wire original. Problem remains. Tony K

Does that do it for you?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have a electrical problem within the factory installed turn signal system on a 1948 Chevrolet 2dr Stylmaster with 6 volt system. Just started blowing fues on the system. Has work up until now. Requested a wiring schematic for that 1948 vehicle system with FACTORY turn signals. The problem is just IN that SYSTEM, all other lights, parking, tail lights and brake lights continue to work as they should. Schematic sent does NOT show any turn signal wiring. Tony K

Yeah, I didn't even look at them because I know that is all that is available but let me look at them anyhow.

I believe the problem here is they were not standard equipment just yet in 1948. Try newer years wiring.

The 1952 Schematic is not correct. What is happening. BOTH signals work properly when the engine is NOT running. As soon as engine is started and generator is putting out the right signals blow the fuse. Left side does NOT cause fuse to blow running or not. Tony K

I'll just opt out. I have no diagram.
