The front tires on my 1970 superbee are too large and tough

Customer Question

The front tires on my 1970 superbee are too large and tough to make remotely tight turns without rubbing or knocking. Can I downside my front tires? I have stinger wheels on American Racing rims. Front p235/70r15 Rear p275/60r15

Hello I will help you with your question,

If you have 6 inch wide wheels you can go as narrow as 195 for the width but the 70 sidewall is what really could be changed. Try something in the 55 - 65 range with the same tread width (235) and that should clear and allow much better handling.

Please let me know how I can help

Thank you
