The data base show (2) models. One is the 124 Model and the other is a 850 Model. I choose the 124 for these specs. If it is the 850 please let me know.

 

Removal & Installation
Points should be replaced, not filed.

1.Remove the distributer cap and rotor.

2.Then disconnect the wires attached to the points; one from the condenser and the other from the distributor.

3.Remove the points and condenser attaching screws. When installing, be sure that the breaker arm is in contact with the high point on the distributor cam lobe. In this position, proper gap adjustment can be obtained.

Adjustment


Dwell angle is the most efficient way to adjust points but can only be done with a dwell meter. See "Tune-Up Specifications Chart" for proper dwell angle.
