Ford COUNTRY SEDAN: 1956 ford country sedan I have replaced

Customer Question

1956 ford country sedan

I have replaced the headlight switch, but still no low beams. I presume it's the dimmer switch. How is the dimmer switch removed? After removing the two mounting screws, I can't figure out how to remove the switch?

My answer may not be to your liking, but is a correct & honest answer.
Many times the only fix will be by Dealer or Shop, so please do not hold that against me.

If you have removed the Screws, then the Switch is pushed down thru Floor, by Frame
Likely stuck due to years of grime & / or Tar type substance used for sealing
Should be "3" connections on it that you can "short" accross to see if the Switch is bad or wires

You can also find these On-Line or E-Bay if it is bad
