On the rear you back off the brake shoe adjustment, and remove the center nut, and the drum should pull fight off. But it is real common for the drum to stick, where you need a puller, and sometimes heat to get the drum off. I have seen these drums come right off, and I have seen them make pros cry, LOL it can be tough. I need to look up the front axle type and get back with you on the front drum removal procedure. It has been a few years since I have had the front brake drums off of a 68 model, and I want to make sure I give you the correct procedure. I am here to help. Good luck, and Thanks for using Just Answer.

I hope this helps, 100% satisfaction is my goal. Just Answer is here to serve you. If the answer is not clear, please let me know what additional help you need, and I will assist you further. When you're satisfied, click on the green accept button. I don't get paid unless you do. A bonus and positive feedback are always appreciated, good luck and Thanks.

I checked and you open up the front hub, by removing the cover. And you remove the large nut, and the bearings come right off with the drum. Be sure to back off the brake shoes, before trying to remove the drums. It is pretty straight forward, the front drums are normally a lot easier than the rear. Good luck, and Thanks for using Just Answer.
