DR. Hamman :

Tom can you explain your question a bit more. It looks like you have a 534cc engine in a 1962 F950, is this a pony engine.

Customer:

Don't know

Customer:

It is an 8 cylinder 534 cubic inches... probably confused you with the cc.

Customer:

Old military style dump truck

Customer:

Really would like to find a source for the voltage regulator and maybe even an ignition switch

Customer:

We have the manual and the supplemental manual (Originals) and the parts numbers don't exactly match the online numbers that are out there now

DR. Hamman :

Yeah, that cc thing made by brain hurt, So is it a Ford engine or is it one of those old big multi fuel straight sixes.

Customer:

8 cylinder Ford engine. Big assed plant.

Customer:

B6A-10175-B this is the original part number in the manual for the voltage regulator

DR. Hamman :

Yeah, that is a real stump puller, this might take some time. Let me see what I can do.

Customer:

you got it. email me with an answer?

DR. Hamman :

I will post it here check back, experts cant email customers.

I am trying to find an exact match for you. I called my generator pro, that rebuilds generators for me, and he is checking into it. This guy has dug up lots of military parts for me in the past, I will keep you posted.
Tom, how many terminals does your generator have on it.
