Mercury monarch: i have a leak in the cab,i..windscreen..cant find

hi,i have a 1979 ford mercury monarch which has been converted to rhd,i have a leak in the cab,i have sealed the windscreen but it persists any ideas,regard,ps would it be getting in through the bulkhead,i cant find any places that look dodgy,this is of course an american import

Hello, it is probabaly either the windshield or bulkhead. You can check by getting inside the car and having someone spray the outside with a garden hose. Keep an eye out to see where the water is coming from. If it is the windshield you usually cant reseal it with windshield caulk or somehting of the sort. You need to remove the windshield clean everything up and reinstall as if you were installing a new one. If it is the bulkhead you'll need to replace the seal with anew one. Also check around the steering column.
