i need to know whats causing power loss too my fuel pump
Expert:  David Gieswein replied 1 month ago.

Power is supplied from the TIPM module to the pump. There is a connector in the line that could be the issue, but we will have to do some tests? Are you able to do them?

Ok you need to first locate the TIPM which is under the hood. You might need to unlatch it and pull it out far enough to access the connectors. You need to find connector C7 pin 11. Once you have found the wire, use a sewing needle to back probe the wire with the connector pugged in.

thanks will check that

Here is a pic of the TIPM

The wire is a Dark Blue / Orange at the TIPM. Then it changes to a Dark green / white down the line.

With your meter ground on battery negative, test this wire's voltage while cycling the key. There should be a momentary 12v then 0volts. Please get back with me if you need any help and keep me informed on your progress.
