Good morning and welcome to JustAnswer!!

My name is ***** ***** I have worked for a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealership for 19 years and I will do my best to help.

Is the condenser fan coming on when you turn the a/c on? When the compressor failed did you flush the entire system along with replacing the components? What are your pressures when the a/c is on?

Talk soon,

Brad

Did you charge it to 1.56 lbs? Did you flush the evaporator? I believe your PT cruiser has a orface tube in the liquid line, was the liquid line replaced between the outlet of the condenser and the inlet of the evaporator?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.

You are very welcome.. I would also like to know the pressures when you start it up and how they increase when the compressor is on. I would suspect a high side restriction or not enough air flow thru the condenser..

Keep me posted,

Brad
