A friend told me his buddy went through same thing and to turned out to be a cracked hose going to intake but I couldn't find one

a fault connector at the alternator could account for the gauges jumping. as far as cracked hoses. take a can of carb cleaner. engine running. spray all hose connections, around the throttle body, around the base of the intake, at the brake booster, if you here the engine rev or stumble then you have found you leak.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The first thing we need to establish is what fault codes are setting. It's going to take some testing at the time the problem is happening to determine what is going on, diagnosing the fault codes will be the first step.

Do ou have the codes that are currently setting?
