Hello and welcome! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with your question.
What is the engine vacuum at when the engine is at idle?
Any vacuum hose or line coming from the intake manifold will work. Would you be willing to speak on the phone?
Excellent! And does the needle stay steady or does it fluctuate?
Excellent! Can you send me a video of this? Thank you!
Upload it to youtube and post the link to the video on this page
It sounded like the engine was running pretty good in the video.
Is there anyway you could send me a video of this rough idle?
We can sure try!
I dont need any live data. I dont think this is a engine performance problem.
Unless the PCM needs to be updated or flashed.. which could be the case.
OK well the engine is not misfiring because it would flag a misfire code. So it would be related to the throttle body or possibly the computer programming if it is related to engine performance. Another possible cause would be worn motor mounts and or the harmonic balancer.
I agree.. but it may only be noticable at lower engine rpm depending on how it's going bad..
Without looking at the vehicle myself and the lack of evidence we have, there is nothing else I can offer other than the information I already have. I am going to leave this open for other experts. Good luck!
Someone should be with you shortly
Good evening and welcome to JustAnswer!!My name is ***** ***** I have worked for a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealership for 19 years and I will do my best to help.
Can I get your VIN number because we have a software update available for rough idle and I want to run your VIN thru Chrysler to see if your vehicles has this update available.
Are you here?
You do have the bulletin on your vehicle which will eliminate your rough idle issue... We(Dealership) charge 1 hour labor which is around $110.00 to update modules.. I have attached the bulletin for you to read...

It's been an hour and I still haven't got a reply.......
Thanks for the reply!!
I didn't know what had happened... So if you will look above there is a software update that will take care of your issues.... Once you get the PCM flashed you will be in good shape...
Why do you say it doesn't apply? What is the VIN?
It's a 2003 LH with a 3.5 and it has idle issues, it most certainly does apply. Once you have it updated it will take care of your issues.]
What is the VIN number?
Reply back tomorrow with the VIN.. Thanks
You are very welcome..
Did you ever update the PCM?
Since you don't have a check engine light on then I would update the PCM and then run a combustion chamber cleaner thru it.. This should take care of your idle issues..
