My AC in my car only gets cold when I'm driving. Even if I am in park if I rev the car up it goes cold temperorarily

No just added freon and it was a mechanic not me. Don't know anything about cars

Ok. The reason I ask is because the symptoms you describe indicate a low charge of freon. I think you should put some more freon in. Did the mechanic do this at a shop with the correct equipment? or did he just put a bottle in with you?
