Customer Question

2004 Sebring convertible 2.7L. Had a grinding noise with traction control on. Turned traction off and went away. now ABS light on also. noise still there if traction control on
JA: Is it just the ABS light? Or is the brake system warning light on, too?
Customer: no, brake system warning light is not on
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: not sure of the problem. Currently driving without the traction on
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: cant think of anything else. Now, depressing traction control switch doesn't cause grinding to return and doesn't re-activate the traction control. lights still on for traction control and ABS

is that something auto zone would do?
Expert:  john -aka eauto replied 3 months ago.

Generally not they usually only pull engine codes but you can check your local autozone and see it is possible if not you are going to have to find some one who does to get the ABS to pin point your problem. If you get me the codes i can help you trouble shoot the failures.
