Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the sunroof module isn't communicating that's the reason the sunroof doesn't work. The module has either failed or is missing a power or ground feed. If fuse 44 isn't blown then a loss of power would have to be a wiring issue, as would a loss of ground.

The next step in diagnosing the issue will be to test the module's power, ground and communication bus voltages. Has this been done?

I have not tested those points, where do I locate them?

The module is on the sunroof assembly. The headliner would need to be removed to access it.
