Customer Question

My chrsyler(###) ###-####airbag light is on.
JA: Is anything interfering with the seatbelt latch?
Customer: Don't think so. Would it only be driver side?
JA: What is the model/year of your Chrysler?
Customer: 2013. Bought it from Enterprise. 4D
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing. I checked the VIN recall website, and it said I have 0 open recalls, but I was worried about the airbag being broken.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Nothing out of the ordinary. I keep up the maintenance on the car.

Hi there,

The first part of diagnosis is to have the car scanned for codes set.

A poor connection within any air bag loop resistance will illuminate the warning light.

Can you get a scan done on the airbag system (SRS)?

I will do that as soon as possible.

Ok, that's good.

Depending on where you go, and what the fault is, it could be an easy thing to fix, or complex.

So fingers crossed for you, hope it is easy.

I have fixed many airbag faults, 50% would be a poor connection.

Kind regards

Gary
