I have a 2010 chrysler 300
, when I drive it, about two miles it will heat up into the the red zone. Any ideas i will need to do to correct thid
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?
Customer: I have checked coolant level, it was low.I restore it to the proper level. Then I drove it about half a mile before it started to overheat again, to the point of boiling over.
JA: What is the model of your '10 Chrysler?
Customer: Chrysler 300.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Wife and I were on our way back to Michigan, from Harveys Lake,Pa. Haven't tried anything yet. Not too sure where to start. I have no problem having someone working on it.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: It has about 66,000 miles on it. Didn't have any trouble getting it here. Everything has been working great with it. Don't have my repair book with me. not sure if there is a thermostat
in it. Wondering if it needs a flushing, a thermostat or a water pump
