Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The ABS and ESP lights will come on when the ABS module sees a failure somewhere in the system and sets a fault code.

There are many things that can turn these lights on, literally any failure in the system will. The problem could be a wheel speed sensor, wiring, the brake switch, hydraulic control unit and pump motor, the module itself, the steering angle or yaw sensor.

the first step in diagnosing the problem will be to use a scan tool or code reader to see what fault codes are setting in the ABS module and testing can be done from there.
