I need the anti-theft code of my vehicle, No I don't

Customer Question

I need the anti-theft code of my vehicle
JA: Do you have a scan tool to read the codes?
Customer: No I don't unfortunately
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: I have a Chrysler 300 sorry
JA: What year is your Chrysler?
Customer: 2014
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. My radio froze when I had a call and thr screen would not turn off. So I pulled the fuse out and pushed it back in to reset the radio but now it's asking me for an anti-theft code to use the radio
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: No that is all

Hello, welcome and thanks for asking your question. My name is*****'m a Certified Auto Technician with 29+ years experience. I will do my best to assist you. please keep in mind that I may need to ask questions of you before I can answer. When you reply please feel free to add as much detailed information as possible pertaining to your concern.

In order to get the anti-theft code I will need the last 8 digits of the VIN and the radio serial number. You may need to pull the radio to get the s/n from the tag on the radio.

Keep me posted

Thank you,

Robert
