I am getting a check engine code 1403 implausalble fuel

I am getting a check engine code 1403 implausalble fuel level signal received code and my gas guage is now buried at empty and i have a full tank of gas
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: Everything runs great. No it hasn't turned into a gas hog running like normal except for the code and the gas gauge
JA: What is the model/year of your Chrysler?
Customer: 2007 pacifica
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no i am going to take it to a mechanic that works on my car
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

Hello and thank you for your question,

This code is set in most cases due to a failing Sending Unit Assembly located in the fuel tank , your Pacifica has a split tank with two of them and you will need a scan tool to check them to determine which one is failing.. Before you consider replacing it you should run the test steps to verify it is in fact a failing sending unit. I have enclosed the steps in the link below.
