My chrysler 300 c class this morning for the first time started and 3 seconds later died. it will eventually start and stay on but after several attempts
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: The battery is at 85 percent the headlights are functional

Do you have a second key available to try? Since you washed the key, I suspect that it is now damaged. The start and stall after 3 seconds is a sign that the Immobilizer system is disabling the vehicle due to a failed key..
