Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The power top control module will stop operation if it sees a component is not in the correct state. You may have many things going on ranging from a bad microswitch, a mechanical problem preventing a component from moving, it could be a hydraulic issue, the pump motor, wiring, or the pump itself.

What message about the top is being displayed on the instrument cluster when trying to move it now?
