Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If you get no message on the instrument cluster when pressing the top switch then the switch itself is a likely cause for the problem, but it's also possible that the power top control module is not awake.

Was the top working fine up until this point?

Did the problem start after any work was done, a jump start, etc?

Did not do a jump start. I still have a full waranty and trying to save a trip to the dealer. Is there is no ways to test or confirm where is the problem ?
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 6 months ago.

Diagnosing the problem would require testing. Do you have a scan tool capable of communication with the power top control module?

No thank you

Have you tried a battery disconnect?
