Hello and welcome to JustAnswer! It's possible that the noise could be internal in the engine but it may also be a broken flexplate or it could be coming from an engine driven accessory.Does the noise change when the trans is put into gear?Does the noise change when the a/c compressor engages? Is the noise still present if you run the engine with the belt off?Which engine do you have?

3.ol v6 gts have not ran engine with the belt off .but did run it with spark plugs out and theres no sound. and the noise dose not change when in gear either. you can not hear it when your driving down the road . the ac compressor is not hooked up theres no belt on pullys

Let's try running it with the belt off and see if the noise is present.
