Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are a handful of things you could have going on. It may be a wiring issue or the torque converter clutch coming on, or the EGR valve may be hanging open when the engine controller doesn't realize it.

The first step in diagnosing the problem is to see if any fault codes are setting. Have you checked for codes?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
There was a crankshaft position code. I replaced the crank sensor. It still do the same thing. Stall out at idle. There is no engine code now.

Do you remember the P code number?

Where did the replacement come from?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
This we're the codes p1607 PCM internal shutdown timer rationality, p0339 crankshaft position sensor intermittent. Both the PCM and Crank sensor has been replaced with dealer parts.

Does it only die at low speeds or idle?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
the vehicle stalls out at idle, in reverse and slowing down when making turns. Will fire right back up with no problem.
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 6 months ago.

Try unplugging the EGR valve, disconnect the battery to clear the adaptives, and see if the problem goes away with the valve unplugged. You may have a bad EGR position sensor allowing the valve to hang open.

Ok, thank you. I will try that tomorrow and see
