Chrysler Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here. The most common cause for the type of problem you are having on your Pacifica is in most cases caused by a failed bad shift interlock cable. When the cable fails it will not allow the shifter to click into park and this will keep the ignition from turning completely off causing the key to stick. Try wiggling the shifter and see if it will go into park and if so you need to replace the cable.
What year is your Pacifica and ill see if I can get you the steps?
