Customer Question

I have an 06 pt cruiser the full gauge reads full even when empty. I changed the fuel pump and it didn't help. If you leave the key in the on position for around ten seconds it will go to empty and the mte will read 0. Then You start it it will run for 15 seconds the. Jumps back up to full and mte will read 300 ***** *****.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?

HI,

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question.

Most likely this is a faulty fuel gage in the instrument cluster itself, but I need the vin number to pull the schematics as well as check for any related service bulletins
