Hi, My name is ***** ***** for the delay.

I will do my best to assist you

has the engine ever been really hot?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I don't know I just got it but the head is not messed up according to a specialist
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 11 months ago.

ok,,here is what to try[it may just have an air pocket in the cooling system..

Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 11 months ago.

1-remove the radiator/reservoir cap when the engine is cold

2-start the engine and let idle

3-turn the heater on max

4-keep coolant on hand and add it as needed

5-spme coolant may gush out with the air

6-keep doing this until the engine is at operating tempeture and the heater is hot

7-after the coolant settles down and the engine is warm,,install the cap

This may take as long as 20-30 minutes

Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 11 months ago.

if it still gets hot after doing this,,,i will think that you do have a blown head gasket

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I have done that as well. Is it possible that it may be the water pump?
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 11 months ago.

i wouldnt think it is the water pump,,the impeller would need to be broken[possible but not likely]

thanksw
