The BCM is the body control module. On some chrysler vehicles it controls electrical items such as lights, power locks, windows, sliding doors, etc.

What issue are you having on your van?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
all electrical functions don't work. I checked the battery. 12.4 volts but no interior or head lights. Checked fuse panel. Looks OK . Checked with Auto Zone for price on BCM. $231.00, but old one has to be sent back to manufactor for rebuild. About 2 weeks. So, what do I do now? or am I chasing the wrong problem?

Are you getting power to any of the fuses?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I checked the fuse box under the hood, and the power connections from the battery. Volt /omn reading say we're hot

So you have power to all of the fuses, but it won't start and none of the lights, locks, etc work?

Do you know if you have communication with the PCM?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I dont know about the computers communication issues:

The only real way to test is to try to hook up a scan tool. That will give you an idea of whether it is a PCM problem or a BCM problem.
